The Tar River Implements Box Blade is engineered for multi-functional ground engagement applications, including
scarifying, leveling, grading, spreading, and backfilling. It is designed for compatibility with Category 1 tractors equipped
with a 3-point hitch.
Tar River Implements Box Blades are available in eight popular sizes. The Sub-Compact Box Blades come in 48” and 60” working widths and 1/4” side plates. The Medium Duty Box Blades come in 60” and 72” working widths with 3/8” side plates for 60” model and 1/2” side plates for the 72”. Our heavier duty 84” and 96” working widths come with 1/2” side plates and a sturdy A-Frame to get the job done. Clevis hitches and durable design for the Tar River Box Blades make them a great tool for all around dirt maintenance.
The front and rear replaceable 6” scraper blades allow for quick and easy replacement making the Tar River line of box blades an excellent choice for all your dirt moving needs!
NEW FOR 2025! The 100 Series and 200 Series are manufactured in USA. The 100 Series 4′ Box Blade is the go-to tool for working gravel, topsoil, mulch, and manure. Its 4 ripper shanks on a 2×4″ steel beam adjust to three depth levels, with 6″ reversable and replaceable front and rear blades. An 18″ box depth and 12.75″ moldboard height provide solid capacity. Cat. 1 and Quick Hitch compatible, it suits tractors 15–28 HP.
The 200 Series Box Blade handles tougher grading, ruts, washouts, and driveway leveling. It features five or six 4-position heavy-duty ripper shanks on a rigid 4″ square tube beam with 5/16″ side plates. The 22” box depth and 16.95″ moldboard adds capacity, while the rear blade , which is replaceable and reversable, can push material in reverse. Cat. 1 and Quick Hitch compatible, it's ideal for 18–45 HP tractors and available in 5′ and 6′ models.
